Faces Of Diversity | Skin Conditions Part 2

In Part 2 of this video presentation Skin Conditions 102, we will continue on to go over what defines a skin condition as well as common skin conditions that are presented in multi-ethnic skin tones.

It needs to be said that certain skin conditions should be referred to a dermatologist, we will touch on those and advise through images letting you view the skin to determine when this is advisable. As much as we as aestheticians can and do treat many problematic conditions with success, it is important to remember that the skin physiology is intricate and we as trained aestheticians should know when we should refer, for our clients well being and safety.

We are also going to go through our homecare treatment products for the most common skin conditions that affect asians, hispanic and african-americans – and why these products will help your clients.
