For optimum results, the skin should be prepped with the Pre Exfoliating Kit at least 2 weeks before the application of a peeling solution.  For people of color, the prep time varies from 4 to 6 weeks depending upon the darkness of the skin tone.  On the day of the peel, the client should receive the Post Peel Kit which gives the steps to complete the healing process.  A PRO POST PEEL service should be scheduled 10 to 14 days after the peel was applied.

Triple Acid Radiance Peel – Do Not Use if Allergic to Aspirin
The combination of Mandelic Acid, Azelaic Acid and Salicylic Acid becomes a powerhouse of ingredients to address acne, hyperpigmentation, texture concerns, and uneven skin tones.  Each acid offers unique benefits

• Mandelic Acid – Gently exfoliating skin lessening the risk of post inflammatory hyperpigmentation due to irritation; brightens and evens-out skin tones; fades darks spots, and dark patches to improve the skins overall natural radiance.
• Salicylic Acid – Exfoliates and dissolves excess oil, helping to prevent acne and blackhead.
• Azelaic Acid – Effective for the treatment of melasma and post inflammatory hyperpigmentation.

Ingredients: Propylene Glycol, SD Alcohol, 40-B, Mandelic Acid Glycerin, Azelaic Acid, Dimethyl Isosorbide, Salicylic Acid, Polyacrylate Crosspolymer-6.
Directions:  Double cleanse and degrease skin with Pre-Exfoliating Solution until all makeup, oil or any debris is removed.  Using two cotton swabs or a mini fan brush dip into product.  Product should not drip from the applicator.  Beginning at the forehead, apply a layer of solution to the forehead, apply around the perimeter of the face to the jaw line.  Repeat on the other side of the face.  Continue by applying product to the nose, upper lips and cheeks and then feather-down to the neck. Remove product by applying a mummy wrap soaked in cool water.   Up to four (4) layers may be applied by waiting 3 minutes between each layer.  The processing time is up to 7 minutes.  Remove solution by using 4×4 cotton pads soaked in cool water applied as a mummy wrap.  Press to release water onto the skin.  Remove the mummy wrap, fold and continuously wipe the face until any tingling has subsided.  Cleanse skin with a non acid cleanser and pat dry.  Add a thin layer of the Global (Mandelic Brightening Peel) – DO NOT REMOVE.  Add sunscreen if warranted by patting it into the skin. DO NOT MASSAGE.

Mandelic Acid 35%
This exfoliating product treats a variety of skin conditions, including hyperpigmentation, inflammatory acne, and rejuvenates photo-aged skin.  Mandelic Acid is part of the AHA having a larger molecule than glycolic acid.  It effectively resurfaces and moisturizes damaged skin cells, diminishing hyperpigmentation and controls oil production.  Combined with Hamamelis Virginiana Leaf Extract, it helps soothe skin, reduce inflammation and helps totighten pores while providing antioxidant protection.

Ingredients:  Water, Mandelic Acid, Propanediol, Alcohol Denat., Glycerin, Hammamelis Virginiana Leaf Extract, Allantoin
Directions:  Double cleanse and degrease skin with Pre Exfoliating Solution until any oil, makeup and debris has been removed.  Using two cotton swabs or a mini fan brush, dip into product.  Product should not drip from applicator.  Beginning at the forehead, apply coat of solution to the forehead traveling around the perimeter of the face to the jaw line. From the jaw line, feather-down to the neck.  Continue by applying product to the nose, upper lip and cheeks.   Apply peel evenly to area to be treated.  Up to three (3) layers may be added but wait 3 minutes between each layer.    The processing time 30 seconds to 5 minutes. REMOVE product by applying a mummy wrap soaked in cool water.   Remove solution by using 4×4 cotton pads soaked in cool water applied as a mummy wrap.  Press to release water onto the skin.  Remove the mummy wrap, fold and continuously wipe the face until any tingling has subsided.  Cleanse skin with a non acid cleanser and pat dry.  Add a thin layer of the Global (Mandelic Brightening Peel) – DO NOT REMOVE.  Add sunscreen if warranted by patting it into the skin. DO NOT MASSAGE.

Salicylic Acid 30% – Do Not Use If Allergic to Aspirin
This powerful BHA exfoliator can penetrate lipidic plugs to dissolve and remove sebum, bacteria, and debris deep within the pores. This 30% Salicylic Acid offers a gentle, low-irritation exfoliation effective for the clients I-VI skin type range. The oil-soluble capabilities of the active ingredients become a powerful solution that is ideal for the treatment of oily skin types with mild to moderate acne, razor bumps, and ingrown hairs.  It also targets melasma, hyperpigmentation, and post inflammatory hyperpigmentation helping to restore skin healthy state.

Ingredients:  Alcohol Denat., Salicylic Acid Water
Directions: Double cleanse and degrease skin with the Pre-Exfoliating Solution until all makeup, oil or debris is removed.  Apply one (1) layer evenly to area to be treated. DO NOT ADD WATER to remove. Unlike an AHA that requires neutralizing, salicylic acid is self-neutralizing. A “frosting”  of the skin will indicate the peel has terminated.  Processing time of 1 to 5 minutes.  If the skin condition becomes resistant, layer a Modified Jessner’s Solution.  Once absorbed, apply a thin layer Global (Mandelic) Brightening Peel.  Do not remove! 

Modified Jessner’s Solution or Jessner’s Solution – Do Not Use if Allergic to Aspirin
Modified Jessner’s Solution offer your non-resorcinol-sensitive clients the same benefits of the Jessner’s Solution with this gentle modified formula. This therapeutic solution minimizes excessive corneum keratinization in darker skin types by combating textural pigment changes in skin type III-VI. With 14% salicylic acid, a potent antimicrobial activity fights against acne vulgaris and pseudofolliculitis barbae while removing sebum accumulation typical to oily skin.  The citric acid allows for a gentle, controlled product penetration, while lactic acid supports bilayer realignment and re-moisturization. These powerful ingredients allow for an easier extraction process and enhanced ingredient penetration. Use this solution to reduce acne, melasma, PIH and photoaging resulting in a healthy, youthful complexion.

Jessner’s Solution is a therapeutic agent that helps to minimize excessive keratinized layers of the stratum corneum prevalent in darker skin types.  Formulated with 14% salicylic, 14% lactic acid and 14% resorcinol, this solution is considered one of the most effective agents designed for smoothing and addressing the textural pigmentary changes in Skin Types III-IV.  It also helps to control acne vulgaris due to its antimicrobial properties while removing lipid buildup that afflicts oily skin.  When the excessive lipid buildup is removed, sebaceous follicle debris is easily extracted and beneficial product ingredients are allowed to penetrate the epidermal layers of the skin

Ingredients:  Alcohol Denat., Lactic Acid, Salicylic Acid, Resorcinol, Water (Aqua)
Directions: Double cleanse and degrease skin with Pre-Exfoliating Solution until all makeup, oil or debris is removed.  Using two cotton swabs or a mini fan brush, dip into product.  Product should not drip from the applicator.  Beginning at the forehead, apply a layer of solution to the forehead, apply around the perimeter of the face to the jaw line.  Repeat on the other side of the face.  Continue by applying product to the nose, upper lips and cheeks and then feather-down to the neck.     DO NOT REMOVE!  Brush-off “frosting.”  Removing with water or a neutralizing solution reactivates the peel and causes a deeper penetration resulting in a possible chemical burn or blistering.  Apply up to three (3) layers evenly to area to be treated. Wait 3 minutes before adding each layer.   For resistant lesions, like melasma add a layer of Salicylic Acid FIRST!   DO NOT add water to remove. Processing time of  5-7 minutes. Once absorbed, apply a thin layer Global (Mandelic) Brightening Peel. Do not remove!

Global (Brightening Peel
This peel is considered a non-aggressive exfoliating product.  It helps reduce hyperkeratinization and repairs the stratum corneum.  Due to its larger molecule structure, Mandelic Acid penetrates slower into the skin reducing the risk for melanocyte stimulation.

Ingredients:  Mandelic Acid, Retinol, Tocopherol, Alpha-Arbutin, Kojic Acid and Paper Mulberry
Directions:   Applied a thin layer after a before a sunscreen (pat into the skin – do not massage).  Do not remove!  OR, apply after a chemical peel but before the application of a sunscreen – Do not remove!
