The Salicylic Acid 30% Exfoliator is a lipid-soluble beta-hydroxy acid (BHA) designed to penetrate deeply into the follicle, dissolving sebum, bacteria, and keratinized debris lodged within comedones. Its exfoliating action promotes controlled desquamation of the stratum corneum with reduced irritation compared to glycolic acid, making it particularly well-suited for Fitzpatrick skin types III–VI.

Formulated at an optimal 30% concentration, this professional solution provides effective resurfacing for oily, acne-prone skin while minimizing the risk of erythema, pruritus, burning, or post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH) that may occur with higher concentrations or lower pH levels. Salicylic Acid is self-neutralizing and does not require a neutralizing solution, reducing procedural risks.

This exfoliator is clinically indicated for the management of mild-to-moderate acne, oily skin, pseudofolliculitis barbae (razor bumps), ingrown hairs, melasma, and PIH. For resistant cases, it may be layered with Modified Jessner’s Solution and finished with the Global Mandelic Brightening Peel to enhance outcomes.
